The influential factors on locational decision and the spread of industry in Adapazari plain

Adapazarı Plain which is examined as a research area is located in Sakarya, North east of Marmara, contains some parts of Adapazarı, Akyazı and Hendek.Industrilization movements had started by the goverment investments among the Adapazarı plateu, after 1950 it continued by the help of private investments. Especially in 1990s, because of not having enough avaible land for industry establishments , high land prizes and worker salaries in the cities such as İstanbul, Kocaeli , Bursa, the entrepreneurs started to find new places for their investments. In this condition Adapazarı plain has a big advantage due to having suitable physical condition , low salary , easy to find raw material , close to big cities which are enabled market and can afford enough energy demand. In addition to this it is located on TEM and D?100 motorways and has railway connection for industry centers. 74 percent of the enterprise join that poll has shown this plateu is an important place for industry investments.Increasing in industrilization causes the place take immigration,.expanding in location areas . this condition increased the wrong usage of agricultural lands and transform them into industrial areas. It?s important to prevent the wrong usage of the first class agricultural land , must be taken attenation when the deny for new investments. Also the results which had experienced badly in the cities like İstanbul, İzmit, Bursa, must be examined and taken precaution.When the thesis was written first of all a literature roview was done and tried to have the knowledge about the subject. After that, trips, polls and dialogues were done in the working area and the datas which were collected analyzed ,tables and graphics were created and the results ordered as a report.
