Abstract (EN)
Developing software to apply SCADA system to Adapazarı water distribution networks SUMMARY In this study the elements which are used in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA) systems, their structural characteristics, application fields, have been examined together with the net protocols which are made for applying SCADA systems as software and the equipments which are used in computer networks. A general software program that is used in distributed supervisory data acquisition is developed in order to be used in Adapazarı water distribution system. In order to apply this newly developed program to the system, it is necessary to install reguired electronic equipments in places where measurments and controls are to be made. With the application of this program it is predicted that the efficiency of water distribution system will increase and the detection of faulty parts will be faster.
