Özet (EN)

This research was carried out in the green house of Akdeniz University Department of Field Crops in 2013 to determine the effects of different bacterial inoculation methods on vetch nitrogen fixation. For this purpose 5 different (control, seed inoculation, seed bed inoculation, soil inoculation, inoculation with peat) bacterial inoculation methods were applied. The experiments were conducted as pot experiments according to completely randomized design with 6 replications. This thesis included some observations such as plant height (cm), green herbage yield, plant dry weight, nitrogen content of the soil, number of nodule, number of mesophilic bacteria. Before planting and after implementation the number of bacteria were counted and compared in all these implementations. Analysis of the finding of this study showed that there were statistical differences at the 0.05 level between nitrogen content, the number of nodules, and plant dry weight. The highest value 0.191 %, was observed with seed inoculation. The highest value observed in terms of number of nodules on the root was 878 in seed bed inoculation. In addition to this, while the highest plant dry weight value of 39.93 g was obtained in the treatment of soil inoculation, the highest mesophilic bacteria number (10,9x106) was obtained in the seed bed inoculation.
