Examination of expert testimony practice in forensic accounting

Forensic Accounting is an issue that needs to be focused on, and the awareness of the experts registered in the Expert List of the Antalya Expertise Regional Board and whose expertise is Banking and Finance and Accounting about Forensic Accounting will be investigated. Which tricks and mistakes are mostly about Forensic Accounting will be asked with a questionnaire. In the first parts of the thesis, the concept of Forensic Accounting, its application areas, what kind of cases are about forensic accounting submitted to the Courthouse, the information of Expert Witnesses (Experts) will be investigated, and in the last part of the thesis, the results of the questionnaire will be analyzed in the a statistics package program and the results will be interpreted. What kind of fraudulent transactions encountered in Forensic Accounting by the Experts Registered in the Expert List of the Antalya Regional Board of Expertise and whose areas of expertise are Banking and Finance and Accounting, and what kind of Forensic Accounting Cases submitted to the Court in this regard, how much they are aware of this issue. It is aimed to contribute to the literature by analyzing the data in the a statistics package program by examining the data analysis and bringing solutions in line with the results, increasing the awareness that the "Forensic Accounting Profession" should be formed and the definition of Forensic Accounting as a separate specialty.
