Abstract (EN)
In this study, the reaction diffusion equation in the functionally graded materials (FGMs) is examined by using Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM). ADM can be applied to linear and non-linear equations and different examples of applications were studied in details. In addition, the heat transfer event mentioned. The main purpose of this study is to apply ADM for the reaction diffusion equation with variable coefficients in the non-homogeneous material known as functionally graded materials. First, conductivity of the material is defined as a function of space variable and a non-homogeneity parameter that represents the effect of functionally graded materials. In the case, which portion of the reaction parameter, , is fixed, an iteration model is found for solution via ADM. Then, examples are given for the different states of the nonhomogeneity parameter of the material. Results are plotted and given in figures and compared with previous studies.Key words: Adomian decomposition method, Adomian polynomials, functionally graded materials, reaction diffusion equation
