Abstract (EN)
Afghanistan always has been one of those countries which is known by the word war and terrorism. Although its rich and interesting cultures and traditions which are created from different ethnicities with different languages. Historically, it is one of the most important and valuable countries. Unfortunately, Afghanistan, witnessing forty years of different wars, is not allowed to explain its cultural and artistic issues and their value to the world. Afghanistan was reflected in the world media as a warfare and poor country. After the media, issues related to Afghanistan were featured in movies, and filmmakers were very interested in making films about Afghanistan. But what is at stake here is how much these movies help us to reach out the real face of Afghanistan. Though, that we can't deny 40 years of war had its effect on cinema and art activities, it was not caused the cinema and the arts to be stopped completely, approximately in all periods there were cinema studies and activities related to art. Only In the 5-year period of the Taliban, the activities and cinema studies had stopped completely and no study had taken place. The name of Afghanistan is so connected with war that it is not as relevant in Afghanistan when there is no war in the movies. As methods in this research "Historical Sociology Method" is used. It refers to bringing together the science of Sociology and History. In this study, you will start the history of Afghanistan and then to the history of cinema in Afghanistan and then to Afghan and foreign filmmakers, how realistic the images about Afghanistan and Afghan culture in their films are.
