Ahlat Double Bath and protection recommendations

This the sis study was conducted in order to evaluate the current conservation situation of Ahlat Çifte Hamam in the light of it's historical, cultural and architectural features and to develop sustainable restoration strategies. On the basis of there search, the historical development of the bath, it's architectural structure, the material susedand there sulting structural distortions were examined by detailed field studies, documentation and comprehensive literature view. According to the obtained data, the main problems encountered in the protection of the bathh avebeen determined; the effects of material weathering, structural weaknesses and environmental factors havebeen analyzed in detail by literaturer view. There sults of the thesisreveal a comprehensive conservation model in the direction of preserving the original texture of Ahlat Çifte Hamam and ensuring it's structural integrity. Inaddition to contributing to there storation of historical structures at the local level, this model also prepares the ground for the development of innovative approach esthat will serve as an example for the preservation of similar historical monuments.
