Abstract (EN)

As a literary language Ancient Oğuz Turkish which is based on properties of Oğuz accent had been used between 13th and 15th centuries. The age of Ottoman Turkish begins from 16th century on. Some of the sources accept that the 16th century is the transition period from Ancient Oğuz Turkish to Ottoman Turkish. With the consideration of the properties of this century, the investigations on the texts written in 16th century will contribute to the researches of the transition age from Ancient Oğuz Turkish to Ottoman Turkish. The work we are dealing with named as Mecma‛ü'l-Mücerrebât is also an important work by being among the medical texts from 16th century. The work is the translation of the book El-Havî fî İlmi't-Tedâvî which was written by Necmeddîn Mahmud bin İlyas eş-Şirâzî. Even though Ahmed bin Bâlî was working as a kadhi after the completing his study as a student of Molla Arap who was a famous scholar of his own age, he subsequently relinquished his job of kadhi and dealt with the science of theoretical and practical medicine. This study dealing with the work Mecma‛ü'l-Mücerrebât (from 1b to 116a) that is mentioned shortly above is consisting of introduction, text, analysis, index and dictionary. In the introduction, after giving information about the medicine texts written in Turkish in Anatolia, more detailed information is given about the work studied and its writer; moreover, in this chapter the information about the purpose of the study, the content and the method used on the study are given. The analysis chapter is aiming at the detection of phonetic properties of the text by using diachronic and synchronic methods. It is described in method section in a detailed way that how this chapter was constructed. The text chapter which consists of transcription is generated by giving page and line numbers to the every single leaf of the text. The last chapter of the study consists of grammatical index. In this chapter, the dictionary of the study is generated by showing every word in which pages and how many times they exist and which inflectional suffixes they take and by giving meaning to every entry.
