Ahmed Cevdet Pasha and explanatory notes about some morphology-syntax and eloquence books which was taught at madrassas

Ahmed Cevdet Pasha, besides other fields, has copyrighted his own works in the field of language, eloquence and literature too. In this study, Ahmed Cevdet Pasha's contributions to science world was examined. This work includes an introduction, two sections and a conclusion. In the introduction it was talked about the topic of thesis, its importance and goal. In the first section, Ahmed Cevdet Pasha's life was mentioned shortly and a short information about his grammer works was given. His other works mentioned by their names only. Other than this, for each concept "commentary", "PostScript", "Comments" and "Shortcut" the necessary explanations were made. In the second section, Ahmed Cevdet Paşa's explanatory notes about morphology-syntax and eloquence books which includes "Emsile", "Binâul-ef'âl", "Şâfiye", "Netâicü'l-efkâr" and "Mutavvel" books that published together and taught at Madrassas were examined. In addition, information about these books was given. Information gathering related to the topic was made from Arabic and Turkish resources and a detailed analysis was made by comparing them.
