Abstract (EN)

The religion of Islam, which constitutes a life model for humanity, has offered them certain principles on how to act in every aspect of their lives. One of these is determining the provisions according to Islam. The determination of these provisions is made within the framework of the Sharia Sources of Islam. These primary sources, the first of which is the Quran and the second is the Sunnah, among the legislative sources of Islam, are limited in the number of provisions they contain. On the other hand, new events emerge due to a constant flow in human life. In order to determine a ruling for the solution of these incidents, it is necessary to find a solution in the light of the provisions existing in the Quran and Sunnah. However, most of the time, this new issue that occurs is not ruled by the existing Sharia evidence. In this case, although individual ijtihads emerge, this is insufficient. This situation necessitates ijma, which is the third religious evidence of Islam. Ijma is seen as a solution producer for new problems that occur without deviating from the lines of the Quran and Sunnah and has a great function among Islamic sources. In this study, he made great services to Islam and Muslims during his time and educated himself in scientific fields such as tafsir, hadith, fiqh, methodology, grammar and logic; We researched the brief life of Ahmed al Charperd, who was engaged in science throughout his life and spent his time educating students, and his understanding and views on ijma, which has a great role among the Sharia sources of Islam. The issues on which he agreed and disagreed with other usul scholars regarding ijma were mentioned. Key Words: Fiqh, Usul, Ijma, Çârperdî, es-Sirâcu'l-vehhâc
