Özet (EN)

The field of prosody , which originated in Arabic literature and systematized for the first time by Halil bin Ahmed, was firstly conveyed to Persian literature and then to Turkish literature. The theoreticians of Persion literature have systematized the prosody they received from the Arabs by adapting it to their language. The prosody was applied primarily to poetry, and thereafter the theoretical works have emerged. However, these works served as translations and explanations of Arabian and especially Persian works. In the process of time, the poets of Turkish literature have succeeded in the application of the prosody to poetry, and this way Turkish poetry has become harmonious and effective. After the application of prosody to poetry has reached a certain level, Turkish theoretical works on prosody commenced to be written in Turkish literature. In this study, the work Câm-ı Muzaffer, which is the explanation of Molla Câmî's Risâle fi'l-arûz and written by Ahmed Sâfî has been analysed.
