Content in Ahmet Altan's works

In this study, named as Content in Ahmet Altan's Works, prominent themes and topics in Ahmet Altan's novels, essays and columns have been determined and a research has been carried out on these. The first chapter of the study is devoted to Ahmet Altan's life and his literary personality. In addition, information about his works is provided in this chapter. In the second chapter, the themes and topics identified in the novels and essays are discussed as main headings. Under these headings, theoretical knowledge concerned with topics identified primarily has been presented. Afterwards, Ahmet Altan's novels have been examined in a chronological way and in what way the theme or topic in question appeared have been identified. After the analysis of all the novels, Altan's essays are also studied in a chronological manner and the essays studied have been discussed separately. In the third chapter, you will see the summary of the novels of the study, and information has been given about the essay books. In particular, these summaries and presentations have been considered as necessary in terms of plot and context in the novels. In the fourth chapter, the author's columns have been classified. After providing the hundreds of manuscript catalog published in various newspapers and magazines from 1987 until 2012, some information about the content has been given. In the conclusion, however, themes and topics identified in the works of Ahmet Altan has been evaluated in general. Some questions have been identified in the process of writing the thesis, and these have been asked Ahmet Altan in an interview. This interview is at the end of the thesis.
