Customer preference in wood door production and satisfaction after sales: Example of Duzce province

The aim of the study was to determine customer satisfaction and after-sales service in the production of wooden doors. In keep with this target, two producing wooden door company in Düzce which gives permission to communicate with their 160 customers, are the scope of the study. Within the scope of the study, the questionnaire was applied to apartment owners residing in Düzce during the period of March-July 2017. In the results of working; it was determined that the age range of the participants changed between 22 and 65, 38,7% were collected in the age range of 36-45, 75,6% were married and 15% were single. It was found that 45% of the participants did not research about door production and model preference but 31,9% preferred melamine door, 27,5% panel door, 23,8% furniture door and 16,9% prefer lacquered doors. When the door model was determined, 90,6% of the respondents indicated quality, 83,8% price, 41,3% aesthetic, 5,6% other factors were important. It was also determined that 26,9% of the participants were satisfied with the after-sales service of the company they purchased the door, and 24,4% were not satisfied. Of the respondents, 43,1% indicated that the company showed the necessary level of self-confidence and sensitivity, 40,6% indicated that they were immediately returned in case of complaint, and 33,8% made an extra payment for after-sales service.
