Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to examine the anxiety levels of patients presenting to a family health center regarding climate change. To this end, individuals' awareness of climate change, their anxiety levels, and the relationship between this anxiety and demographic variables were analyzed. The study sample consisted of 815 patients presenting to a Family Health Center located in the central district of Antalya. Convenience sampling was used in the study. The demographic information form and the Climate Change Anxiety Scale, developed by the researcher, were used as data collection tools. The scale was developed by Stewart (2021) and adapted into Turkish by Gezer and İlhan (2021). The conformity of the total score of the climate change anxiety scale to a normal distribution was examined using skewness and kurtosis values. Since the skewness and kurtosis values obtained were within ±2, the data were considered to be normally distributed, and parametric tests were used in the analyses. The "Independent Samples t-Test" was used to examine the climate change anxiety score according to an independent variable with two categories, and the "One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)" test was used to examine it according to an independent variable with three or more categories. Statistical analyses were conducted using the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program. The significance level was set at 0.05
