Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACTGlobal process, nowadays, has increased the degree of competition among theorganizations and thus caused the development of new and modern management methods andphilosophies to survive through the competitive environment. The classical managementapproaches have been abandoned and the new ones for which the human element stands to bethe main interest are developed.It has become an obligation for the managers today to investin human-the most precious value they have - without worrying about business, technology,market, money and quality but caring and investing in human in the first place.Communication and relations among the workers; for the organizational culture,policies, decisions, acknowledgement of the workers about the organizational developmentsand acquaintance among the workers, stand to be the key process to answer the needs of theworkers, to satisfy them professionally and to ensure their organizational dedication to makeuse of the human source in the most affective and fertile way. Public relation and humanresource managers have roles of great importance through the progress. This very research -which shows the role and importance of organizational culture and job satisfaction of theworkers to increase the effect of public relations and human resources practices-also,indicates and emphasizes the lower dimensions which are used to analyse the organizationalculture and the job satisfaction - and their relations are as well inspected.According to this above mentioned general goal, the relationship between theorganizational culture and job satisfaction is studied due to the contentment and perception ofthe researchers who doctorate at the Akdeniz University.The first part examines; the definition of culture and organization, their specialities,organizational culture and the related approaches, the elements, the concept and the lowerdimensions to analyse the organizational culture.The second part examines the concept and importance of job satisfaction with alltheories, characteristic elements, practices at the organizations and the results ofunsatisfactoriness for both the individual and the organization.The last part of the study includes the Spearman Corelation analysis applied on theresearchers who doctorate at the Akdeniz University to compare their perception andcontentment of the organizational culture to the job satisfaction. The results has shown us thatthere is a high rate of relation between the organizationalculture and the job satisfaction.Consequently, it has been put forward that the young academicians are influenced bythe perception and contentment of the organizational culture which mutually effects theelements of organizational culture and job satisfaction.
