Abstract (EN)
From the ends of 20th century lung cancers began to have an increasing ratıo on preventible deaths. Globally lung cancers is the most diagnosed and death caused malign desase on men. On wonem it is the fourth in diagnosed malign desease and the second in malign reasoned deaths. HLA-G was shown on trophoblasts firstly. Cause of its immunsupressor capability the circulatiıng form sHLA-G was focused ın many studies as a biomarker for malignancies. In our study we aimed to investigate if sHLA-G is a prober biomarker for the diagnosis of lung cancers and the effect of smoking on the levels of sHLA-G. 62 individual diagnosed as malign, 18 individuals diagnosed as benign, 40 individual having smoking habbit and 31 individual as non smoker are accepted to the study according to the criterias of accaptance and formed four groups. It is tried to ınvastigate in the study the releation of smoking habbit, age, pathologic diagnose and the sHLA-G levels between and in the groups. As the result of statistical analyses sHLA-G levels found markedly higher on patients groups when compared with non smoker controls. The was no differance between groups on other criterias. sHLA-g levels was investigated on other malign diseases but only a few study had been made on lung cancers. Based on the results of our study sHLA-G seems to be a helpfull biomarker for diagnosis of lung cancers and its serum levels are intependent from smoking habbit
