Abstract (EN)

In this study ve aimed to assess the quality of life in lung cancer patients, the effect of changes in the observation period with the results of the EORTC-C30 scale and follow-up evaluation determine the relationship between patient and cancer response.According to the results of multivariate analysis comorbid conditions, ECOG performance status and tumor type significantly affected the overall quality of life changes. Age and disease stage did not predict the overall quality of life. Age, presence of comorbidity, tumor type, tumor stagei number of symptoms and performance status significantly determines the chanf-ges in physical and role function. Except for diarrhea and social functioning changes in all quality of life scales in time determines survival. In conclusion histological type of tumor and treatment protocols are not significant prognostic factors for survival. However, tumor stage, treatment response, the number of symptoms, symptoms pointing advanced stage disease are significant pnognostic factors for survival. Comorbid conditions, ECOG performance status and tumor type significantly affects the overall quality of life changes. Karnofksy and ECOG performance status are strong and independent prognostic factor for survival. İn addition quality of life was strong and independent prognostic factor for survival.
