Özet (EN)

There are phytopathological factors that affect the yield and quality of wild Pistacia sp. and Pistacia vera L, which has a substantial proportion in our country's economy. In this study, reseach has been conducted to define with the intention of dealing with Alternaria spp. problem which has come out in the form of scald in fruits especially in recent years and caused to decrease in the quality of yield as well as drop of product. It has been observed that the scald in fruits starts in May and June and continues in Pistacia sp. till September, which is the time of harvest. Alternaria spp. has heavily obtained from the isolation that is carried out from the leaves and fruit shell with symptoms of Alternaria blight (late and early). In the experiment of Patojenicity, 164 Alternaria spp. izolats have been inoculated with fruits of Ohadi and defined that they are virulence. The sequence analysis of mating type regions of Alternaria spp. isolates has been done and found out that the rates of Mat1.1 and Mat1.2 are close to each other. There is no detailed study which has been carried on Alternaria blight in the types of Pistacia sp. in our country. This thesis study which deals with the factors of Alternaria blight for the first time will provide the basis for the studies that are planned to be carried out in the future. Key Words: Pictacia spp., Alternaria spp., Characterization, Mating Type.
