The relationship between entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence levels of Akdeniz University students

In this study, it is aimed to find out whether there is a relationship between entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence of undergraduate students participating in the research. Some demographic characteristics, entrepreneurship scale and emotional intelligence scale were used to measure students' perspectives on entrepreneurship. The sample of the study consists of 319 undergraduate students studying at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Engineering and Agriculture. Descriptive statistics of the participants, class, gender, sports, taking entrepreneurship lessons, t-test in groups independent of parametric tests to determine whether there are differences between the emotional intelligence sub-dimensions and entrepreneurship levels according to the sector variable they want to work in, the sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence and Pearson correlation analysis was used for entrepreneurship level. As a result of the research, there is a difference in terms of gender in optimism and entrepreneurship, which is the sub-dimension of emotional intelligence, and there is a difference in terms of benefiting from optimism and emotions from the sub-dimensions of entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence in terms of sporters, and taking advantage of emotions which is one of the sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence. It is found that there is a difference and there is a difference between the sector in which individuals want to work and entrepreneurship.
