Abstract (EN)
With the advences in Information and Communication Technologies and the technology reaching more and more users, there has been a usage habbit embedded technology. Technological developments combine not only people but also sectors. The concept of smart tourism is a concept that combines technology and tourism. The aim of smart tourism approach derived from the concept of smart city, the efficient and sustainability of destination and resources, the competitiveness, enriching the tourist experiences and cocreation etc. Smart applications also icrease the quality of life of indigenious. In smart systems, it is ensured that supply and demand sides in the destinastion are unified under the technological framework and the available information is obtain. In this study, Alanya destinastion is evaluated within the framework of smart destinastion dimensions. Data were collected using the Delphi Technique which is one of the qualitative research methods. The research universe consisted of the hotels, agencies, associations and foundations managers, Alanya Museum Directorate, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alanya Municipality Project Coordinatorship, Academic Research Centers managers and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Alanya Service Unit. In this research, participants were asked about advantages, disadvantages and barriers of smart applications in Alanya. At the same time, participants were asked which applications could be used for Alanya and what could be done for these applications. At the end of the study, a consensus was reached for Alanya to be a Smart Tourism Destinations.
