Investigation of Family Functionality Detected by Adolescents with Peer Bullying This study was conducted in order to determine whether adolescents 'orientation to peer bullying behavior, sociodemographic characteristics, family functioning and adolescents' characteristics. The data of the study are still in the high school 1-2-3-4. Graduated students were obtained. The study was carried out on 343 students who were studying in the Çankaya District of Ankara Province. The data related to the variables examined were collected by using the 1990 Peer Bullying Determination Scale) Turkish adaptation T.Ayas (2008) and M. Pişkin (2002), leme Family Assessment Scale Z Bulut (1990) and Personal Information Form. The aim of this study was to determine whether peer bullying status of adolescents was changed according to the sub-dimensions of family functioning, according to the characteristics of the adolescent and socio-demographic characteristics. When the findings of the study are examined, the most bullying behavior of adolescents is seen in the gender factor. Accordingly, males exhibit more bullying behavior than girls. Unhealthiness seen in all dimensions of the family functioning of adolescents was found to be the most important factor in the behavior of adolescents. In particular, communication, roles, emotional responsiveness of the family functioning, showing the required attention, behavior control, and poor health in general functions increase the bullying and victimization of adolescents. According to the findings of the study, it was concluded that the most important factors affecting the bullying behavior of the adolescents were the parents' profession and especially the students who were the parents of their parents were more oriented towards the bullying behavior. In conclusion, it is thought that the research will contribute significantly to the literature related to school social service, peer bullying and family functioning.
