Abstract (EN)

Key words: Aquarium automation, Microcontroller, PIC16F877, It is very exciting to watch coloured swimming fish in a beatiful aquarium that is organized with plants, rocks and tree roots. Aquarium is a different world that goes on silently in your home, covered area that you pass the time. Aquarium allows to rest, reduces stres. Also it is a reality aquarium slows down heartbeats. According to investigation an aquarium needs feding, filtering, illumination, ventilation, heating and water changing. It is necessary that fish must be feed on time and as required. Aquarium?s water changing must do on time. Because of this aquarium automation feels to need for people that has a job and go to holiday. Aquarium automation?s electronic section occurs two parts. First PIC 16F877 mainboard circuit with microcontroller second, control panel with indicator. Indicators that are on user processes can be made with 4x16 LCD and 5 number keys. These keys are manger 1, manger 2, illumination, air motor and menu. There are two mangers on design. One of them was planned for young fish. Feeding can be made on time with ir remote, control panel with indicator. Illumination and air motor can be controlled with ir remote and control panel with indicator. Water changing is made once a week. It is set control panel with indicator. PIC 16F877, mainboard circuit with microcontroller and control panel with indicator circuit?s drawing and simulation was made with Proteus ISIS Professional 6.9 SP5. PCB was designed with Proteus ARES Professional 6.9 SP5. Software was written with MPLAB IDE 7.50 and programme was transferred with EPICWIN software. Software was prepared with HI-TECH PICC Toolsuite language. In first section aims of this work and other works are explained. In Second section, some information about aquarium was given. In third section electronic circuit component that are used in design was explained. In last section conclusion and suggestions were explained.
