Abstract (EN)
The study area is Church of the Alabanda Ancient City, located 8 km West of Çine town of Aydın province, in western Turkey. Field studies carried out by Archeology Department of Aydın Adnan Menderes University to map city plan of the Alabanda is still in sprogress. In order to determine presence and conditions of the buried structures, geophysical investigations by means of electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) were carried out in the Church. For this purpose, inside the walls of the Church, total 14 electrical profiles, which are 23 m in lenght were formed to measure electrical resistivity using the Wenner arrays. Both the profile seperation and the distance between the electrodes were taken as 1 m Measurements were ARES GF multichannel resistivity instrument. 2D and 3D sections have been obtained from using RES2DINV and RES3DINV computer programs with robust inversion, respectively.
