The lichens of Alacadag nature protection area (Antalya)

This study was carried out in order to determine the richness of lichenized and lichenicolous fungi in Alacadağ Nature Protection Area (Antalya-Finike). This is the first comprehensive study in Finike, a district of Antalya, and Antalya. As a result of the field studies, 398 samples were collected and identification of taxon were determined according to scientific and current methods in Alacadağ Nature Conservation Area. After the laboratory studies, 125 taxa belong to 9 orders, 27 families and 66 genuses were determined. 4 of these taxa are lichenicolous fungi that live parasitically on lichens. One of 4 lichenicolous fungi, Abrothallus welwitschii Tul. ex Mont., is new record for Turkey. In addition, lichenized fungi Calicium pinicola (Tibell) M. Prieto & Wedin, Catapyrenium psoromoides (Borrer) R. Sant., Parmelia ernstiae Feuerer & A. Thell., Sticta limbata (Sm.) Ach. were recorded from Turkey for the first time with our research. 30 of the determined taxa in the Alacadağ Nature Conservation Area were reported for the first time as new records from Antalya and the Province's Districts. When the lichen groups of the area were examined, it was found that according to morphological structures crustose lichens with 69 taxa and 55,2% distribution rate and according to substrate preferences epiphytic lichenized fungi with 76 taxa and 60,8% distribution rate were dominate groups.
