Abstract (EN)

In order to increase the participation of people with disabilities in tourism activities, arrangements are needed for tourism enterprises and tourism destinations. However, tourism managers who play an active role in the tourism process will recognize and understand disabled people and improve the quality of the service. This thesis is about The perspectives of four and five-star accommodation business managers in Alanya which is one of important tourism destination in Turkey have been investigated for physical disability tourism. For this purpose, the literature was searched and disability was searched in the first part and the concept of disabled tourism was detailly searched in the second part and the third part is the research part of the study. The questionnaire technique was used to collect data. 318 executives working in 4 and 5 star hotels in Alanya were reached through a questionnaire and a field study was conducted to determine the awareness of disabled tourism. Frequency analysis, T test and Anova analysis were applied to the data obtained from the questionnaire forms. According to the results of the study, it was determined that hotel managers in Alanya region were not aware of the importance of disabled tourism market.
