The history of Albanes and the Muslim conquest of Azerbaijan

Albanians, one of the ancient peoples of Azerbaijan, continued their existence until 705 by including the north of today's Azerbaijan lands, Georgia, Armenia and some of the lands of Southern Dagestan. The Albanian State was established by the gathering of 26 tribes. The rulers of the Aran, Arsak and Mehrani dynasties ruled the Albanian State. In terms of their strategic location, they were in constant contact with the Byzantine Empire and the Khazars, apart from the Sassanids. They organized raids in these lands to expand the lands of the Muslim Arabs and had a say in the administration. Another remarkable issue of the Albanians is that they accepted Christianity for the first time in the Caucasus lands and made it the official religion of the state. Due to the Christian religious beliefs Monophysitism and Diophysitism, there were differences of opinion and these differences of opinion dragged the Albanian State into internal turmoil. The Albanian State, which existed from the 1st century BC to the 8th century BC, turned into a caliphate and disappeared from the stage of history. In this study, which was written about the geography, political, social and cultural history of the Albanian State, the process from the establishment of the Albanians to its collapse was discussed, and by giving information about the struggles for dominance of the states with which they interacted due to their geographical location, I thesis the effects of the religious policies of these states on the state.
