The misfit in Albert Camus

Albert Camus is one of the most important philosophers of the 20th century. Camus combined his philosophy with literature and presented the problems of his age to people with his art. According to Camus, humans lack of communication with the world is the discordance itself. This discord arises only from the miscommunication between the world and humans, whereas there is no discord in the world itself. Camus' discordant human takes shape at this point. Discordant person realizes that meaninglessness does not exist in the world and leaves the search for meaning; for such a person there is no faith for the afterlife, because such a faith contains hope, and hope puts people in a constant search for expectation and meaning. The discordant person is the one who exposes the truth rather than paints it over. In my thesis, I will describe Albert Camus's discordant human profile in this direction; I will evaluate the contradictions in human beings relationship with the world within the framework of Camus philosophy; I will deal with the situation and alienation of man in the face of death; and in the conclusion part, I will give the general expression of the human-world relationship, which has been explained throughout the thesis.
