Abstract (EN)
In recent years, connection of distributed generation plants which are also considered as alternative energy source highly increased. Respectable amount of research projects are carried out to enable providing most of the energy need from renewable distributed generation resources. Connection of these plants should be examined in detail in order not to be harmful for existing electricity network or to encourage them to work on behalf of the network. Most of the distributed generation plants consist of synchronous generators, asynchronous generators and inverter-based generation plants. In this research on MV and LV distribution network, connection of these plants to different bus bars with various connection power rates are observed. In the distributed generation plant connected busbars, voltage rates gone upward due to connection of new plants. But also, as a result of distributed generation plants? feeding the short circuit current, there is a increase in the amount of shortcircuit power in the busbars. Observed parameters are the changes in voltage profile, short-circuit analysis and power loss analysis. Matlab/Simulink SimPowerSystems Toolbox is used for observations. Distribution network systems which are modelled in Matlab/Simulink are as follows: For MV distribution network, a distribution center which is directly connected to a substation power transformator side and a ring network branch which consists of 10 distribution transformators. For LV distribution network, a field distribution network which is connected to one of these 10 distribution transformators. Pronounced networks are modelled with approximate real values of existing electricity distribution network. For modelled connections, local and international connection standards and requirements are taken as referance. Simulation results are observed according to these standards. As per simulation results, suggestions were given regarding to connection of distributed generation plants to distribution network.
