There have been many researches and studies on the emotions that feelings vary from individual to individual and affect the essence of people. The facts revealed by these studies are important information for people who experience their feelings deeply so that they can be understood. Although this word, which is known that feelings are experienced quite violently and have an impact on human psychology from many frames, is defined as a human-specific emotion, it is actually a phenomenon socially and culturally as well. In addition to the psychological factors underlying the concept of love, culture, morality, tolerance and religion are other elements of love in the structures that make up society such as religion. These elements have led to various definitions and classifications of love in different periods. As is known, Love is a feeling that develops, progresses and can end, and it is directly proportional to the development in a person's life that a person has always had the ability to love in them. Falling in love can change a person's view of the person they love and the world, and it can also make a person experience extreme emotions such as enthusiasm and depression. Love is full of contradictions: it is amigosu- Love can sometimes contain hatred in a love for one's partner, and sometimes it can cause suffering along with the pleasure it gives. It is generally believed that the culmination of the feeling of love is pleasure and its essence lies in complementarity. The purpose of the study: To reveal the common and different aspects of the subject examined in two works written by important writers in Russian and Turkish literature. The novelty of our study is the first comparative analysis of the concept of love on the works of Aleksandr Ivanovic Kuprin "Granat Bracelet" and Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's "Mai and Black". The concept of love, which we discussed in our study, forms the basis of our study. In this study; definition, comparison, generalization and translation methods were used.
