Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between some demographic features, self perception, self esteem and some subcategories of Rosenberg self esteem scale in people with Alexithymia. In order to reach this aim, 603 people between the ages of 18-60 were asked to answer demographic information form, Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS), Social Comparison Scale and Rosenberg self-esteem scale. After analaysis of data, it was observed that education and age, self perception scale, self-esteem were associated with high alexthymic scores. We concluded that alexythymia may caused to low self esteem and self acceptance.
