Alexander Calder and his art

In this thesis ?art is for society? words have been aimed to be informed. So the artists have been searched which are appropriate for this project .and than Alexander calder has been choosen. Alexander calder?s period of his special life and his artistic life has been examined. The sculpture who has borned in 1898, is has been choeen because he had?nt eliminate his desire for entertaintment and with these feeling , he did his works. And these works were been happened ,when there was post war time. So these works were like medicine for the people. For example, his circus performence was the best of them. He did his sculptures, with his feelings which were belong to his life scyle?s events and conditions. The exhibitions, which has been presented today Calder's works, has been examined and in these exhibitions it has been occured the inspiration of Calder to the artists like Nathan Carter, Martin Boyce, Abraham Cruzvillegas. The reports about Calder and today artists works photographs which had been taken side by side Calder's works photograph's has been proved this inspiration. Besides this different Turkish, English, French and German sources has been translated into Turkish and it has been synthesized. Moreover Calders work photographs, which had been taken different periods, has been formed visual proof. This visual sources has showed unlike his lifelong periods art style he has a special unique style. The inspired artists have determined. For instance he had been inspired by Miro game and colour, by Mondrian one scratch works. His mechanical engineering education had provided advantage him to make equilibrum mobiles. The biggest innovation, which he had been gained the art, has been his mobiles. The adventure of his art life beginning with wire sculpt has continued various designs like jewellery, household utensil, circus, toy, mobiles, stabiles at the end of it had been united his monumental works.
