THE OPTICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL PROPERTIES OF ALGANSCHOTTKY PHOTODETECTOR(M.Sc. Thesis)Burcu YILDIRIMGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYFebruary 2007ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to search the charge of surface morphology andphotoluminescence spectrum by annealing the ternary alloy Al0.52Ga0.48N. Afterannealing the alloy at the room temprature, 800 0C, 900 0C, 960 0C for 240 s, themeasurementes of AFM and PL has been done. On the other hand, it isobserved that by increasing temperature surface roughness (RMS) falls downsharply. Besides that, PL radiation intensity exhibits significant increase withannealing.Science Code : 202.1.147Key Words : Surface, AlGaN, Photoluminescence, DetectorPage Number : 49: Assoc.
