Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating role of work engagement on the relationship between perceived organizational support and turnover intention. In order to test the model and hypotheses formed in line with this aim, research data were collected using survey method from 427 employees of public institutions operating in the healthcare sector in Erzincan. The data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS programs. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that perceived organizational support has a positive effect on work engagement and a negative effect on turnover intention, and work engagement has a negative effect on turnover intention. In addition, it was concluded that there was a partial mediating role of work engagement on the relationship between perceived organizational support and intention to quit.
