Abstract (EN)

This study was carry out to investigate the mediating role of positive psychological capital on the impact of perceived organizational support and organizational cynicism on organizational performance. For the purpose of the study, quantitative analyzes were performed. Research, Turkey's Izmir province in shipyard maintenance, repair and production workers at a shipyard which was carried out with the participation of a total of 283 employees. Various analyzes were conducted with the data obtained for the purpose. SPSS and LISREL statistical programs were used during the analyzes. Structural equation modeling was used for the hypotheses developed for the model. As a result of the analysis (SEM), various results were obtained. According to the results, a significant relationship was found between all variables. A positive relationship was detected between perceived organizational support and organizational performance and positive psychological capital. And there was a negative relationship between organizational cynicism with perceived organizational support, organizational performance and positive psychological capital. In the compose model of the study, when was included in the model together with other variables, the relationships were meaningless. Therefore, organizational cynicism was removed from the model. Finally, the mediating effect of positive psychological capital on the effect of perceived organizational support on organizational performance was examined and as a result of this analysis, it was found that positive psychological capital had a mediating role. Another result is that the sub-dimensions of organizational cynicism are negatively related to other variables. Apart from the sample masses used in the past studies, a sample group which was not uncommon used was selected. It is important to evaluate this situation by looking at the results of the research. It has emerged as an important information in order to see to what extent the thoughts and behaviors of the labor-intensive sectors are included in the functioning of the activities. As a result of the analysis of the research, various recommendations and suggestions for future studies are proposed and further development of this research is aimed.
