Ali Bin Abdullah Kahramān-nāme (Introduction, review, text, dictionary, special names directory)

The basis of this study was the determination of the elements of Old Anatolian Turkish language on Kahramān-nāme Bibliotheque Nationale. When the Bibliotheque Nationale copy of Kahraman-nāme, written by Ali Bin Abdullah, was examined, it was found that the copy contained the elements of Old Anatolian Turkish language. Our study primarily consists of five separate sections: introduction, analysis, text and index of special names. First of all, the text was translated from Arabic script and transferred to Latin letters. In the introduction part of the study, information about the text and Old Anatolian Turkish is given. In the examination section, some of the phonetic and morphological situations of Old Anatolian Turkish are examined. In the text part, the work has been transferred from Arabic script to Latin script. From this point of view, a dictionary study was carried out in order to give the meaning of the words used in the Old Turkish or Old Anatolian Turkish period with unknown meanings in the text, having more than one meaning, and the etymologies of the words were given along with the words. In the special names directory, the place and person names mentioned in the text are given in which leafs. Although Kahramān-nāme sometimes includes Arabic and Persian words, the elements of Old Anatolian Turkish language are important in terms of Turkish words and vocabulary. As a result, in this study, the elements of Old Anatolian Turkish language were taken into consideration and some phonetic and morphological features of Turkish language and Turkish at the time of writing were examined in Kahramān-nāme.
