Determination and verification of sources in Dürerü'l Hukkam by Ali Haydar Efendi: 458-533. clauses

The first modern civil law of Ottoman Empire is Mecelle-i Ahkam Adliyye. In addition, Mecelle was a reference for many other countries in creation of their civil law. Therefore, many expositions are written on Mecelle in order to understand it better. ?Dureru?l Hukkam Şerhu Mecelleti?l-Ahkam? of Ali Haydar Efendi, consisting our research is the most popular and the most expand exposition among other the expositions.Our research contains the items 458-533 which involve the leasing chapter of Dureru?l Hukkam Şerhu Mecelleti?l-Ahkam and consists of determination and investigation of sources of these items. In order to facilitate from the text, the in question chapter is translated into latin alphabet. Meanwhile the originality of the text is highly considered.Our thesis is composed of an introduction and main chapter. The main chapter covers the life of Ali Haydar Efendi and the latinisation of aforementioned items and investigation of the sources.The aim of our research is to simplify the text by translating the leasing chapter of Dureru?l Hukkam Şerhu Mecelleti?l-Ahkam in latin alphabet and researching the sources of it for the ones who like to exploit form this work.
