A critical study on "Dürerü'l-Hukkam" by Ali Haydar Efendi (101-229 items)

Mecelle can be accepted as the first example of the canonization processof Islamic jurisprudence in the area of civil law. It also has been a source ofinspiration in the formation civil law altogether. It is not only popular and usedin Turkey but most of the Islamic world such a Tunusia, Irak, Israil, Moroccoand some others places. So many commentaries which written were on it canshow us the importance of Mecelle by itself Ali Haydar Efendi?s ?Dürerü?l-Hükkam Serhu Mecelleti?l-Ahkam?, which was studied by us, is considered asone of the important commentary on it.Our work consist of the sources determination and verification of 101-229 items that is relevant with the magic part of ?Dürerü?l-Hukkam? of hiswork. Before making the sources determination and verification, we latinize thetext in order to make it easier those interested to benefit from the text. In doingso, we make an effort as much as possible to be loyal to the original text.We have given information about Ali Haydar Efendi?s life and his worksin the introduction of our thesis. And we have made latinization and verificationwork of 101- 229 items in the main section as well.The aim of our study is to make it understandable for the student ofIslamic jurisprudence and the reader study who interest which Islamic law tobenefit from this book by making latinization and verification work of thesection that we said previously.Key Words: Dureru?l-Hukkam, Mecelle, Ali Haydar Efendi, Magic.
