Abstract (EN)

Mecelle-i Ahkâm-ı Adliyye, the first civil code of Ottoman Empire, had been written by a delegation at the second part of XIX. Century. Ali Haydar Efendi who is the author of Dürerü?l Hükkâm -the subject of the thesis and one of the major annotation of Mecelle was belong the significant law auhorities of his age, and he was also the member of Mecelle Delegation. It will be necessary to analyze Dürerü?l-Hükkam Şerhü Mecelletü?l Ahkâm to be aware of judicial approaches of that period.The thesis was composed of preface and main body. At beginning of the main body the books, works and life of the annotation?s author described shortly. Folllowing that part, the references of Dürerü?l-Hükkâm?s 356th-403rd articles are determined and verified. The matches of references and their source books are mentioned at the footnotes with their volumes and pages. In addition, whole text converted to contemporary Turkish Latin Script.
