Özet (EN)
The Free Republican Party, which has a unique and different place in Turkish political life, is one of the important stages of the transition to multi-party life, which was established in 1930 with the decision of Atatürk and the participation of the notables of the the Republican People's Party. Shortly after the proclamation of the Republic, the press was buried in silence with the Law of Takrir-i Sükûn, which was enacted after the Progressive Republican Party, which was the first trial, and this silence left its place to polyphony again with the FRP. The fact that FRP emerged in such a period was also effective in attracting attention. The period of silence from 1925 to 1930 was over. During the period, the press was divided into two as pro-government and pro-opposition, and the editorial policies of the newspapers of the period played an important role in the FRP process and became the primary factor in the closure of the party. After Fethi Bey dissolved the party, the 'One Party' period, which would last until 1946, began. This study deals with the newspaper İnkılap, one of the important newspapers of the period, and the journalism of its founder, Ali Naci Karacan. In this context, the content analysis of the columns of important names such as Yusuf Ziya, Falih Rıfkı, Yakup Kadri, who wrote in the newspaper İnkılap, which followed a pro-government policy, is made. İnkılap carried out propaganda work on behalf of the party it was a supporter of, and worked hard to prove the 'anti-revolution sect' discourse on behalf of the FRP. The newspaper started to be published 18 days after the FRP was founded and ceased publication 2 months after the FRP was closed. This creates the impression that İnkılap has completed his duty and left the press life. Ali Naci Karacan has worked for many newspapers since his early youth. From the first years of the Republic to 1946, he was a strong supporter of RPP, received the title of "Atatürk's Prince" by the Istanbul press, but changed his side completely with the establishment of the Democratic Party in 1946. Columns in İnkılap have an important place in terms of shedding light on his attitude.
