Ali Rıza Önder's life and folklore studies

This study includes folklore studies by Ali Rıza Önder who is a lawyer and a folklore researcher that lived between 1918 and 1994. The thesis consists of Önder's life and the articles he wrote on folklore studies, language, literature and social issues. In this study, it is aimed to put forward a neat study on the life and published articles of Önder, who came to the forefront with the biographies he prepared about the folklore researchers and the legends he compiled. The study is consisting of six main titles. In the first part, the life of the author and what has been written about him are discussed. In the second chapter, his book titled "Yaşayan Anadolu Efsaneleri" which is his work on folklore studies is examined. In the third chapter, the articles of Önder, published in various magazines and newspapers about folklore, are given in chronological order. In the fourth section, Congress and Seminar Papers are examined. In the fifth chapter, his writings about the matters other than the folklore studies are included. In the sixth section, there is a bibliography of Ali Rıza Önder.
