Abstract (EN)
This study has examined the impact of the personality tests used in the recruitment process on hiring the right employee. Qualified employees directly relate to businesses' achieving the objectives of profitability, permanence and success. In the process of reviewing the job candidate, the personality traits of the individual determine the person who will be beneficial to the business among the others fulfilling the basic criteria such as knowledge, experience and education. Since the personality tests are a scientific and psychotechnical method, they are reliable sources for the hiring decision in terms of choosing the right employee. The results of a research conducted in the Recruitment Department of a private company support that the use of personality tests that affect the hiring decision increases the chances of choosing the right employee.
