Abstract (EN)
The rapid development of technology changes how we do our daily business and makes life easier. Of course, the labour market is also affected by this change. Despite the tremendous progress made by technology today, the method followed in recruitment processes has not kept pace with technology at the same rate. Many information and documents are requested from candidates in recruitment processes. Confirmation of this information and documents requires both serious labour, time loss and cost elements. There is often no specific standard in the evaluation of candidates by enterprises, and each company conducts job interviews with the method it wishes. The candidate evaluation process is usually affected by the subjective judgements of the interviewer. Even the checklists created to ensure an objective interview takes into account the interview's momentary course. The evaluation does not include the candidate's performance in other interviews. This thesis proposes a model based on blockchain technology for a more economical and transparent recruitment method that will prevent time and unnecessary expenses in recruitment. With the proposed system, the human resources officials of the enterprises will be able to see the performance of the candidates in previous interviews and the evaluation scores given by other human resources officials. Simple mathematical formulas have been created for the reliability of candidate evaluation scores. The model created aims to manage the recruitment process more economically, transparently and efficiently for private and public institutions. In addition, the realisation of recruitment processes with blockchain technology's distributed and transparent structure will form the basis for a fairer recruitment process for job seekers.
