Abstract (EN)
A study was made for interrelationship of poem and music in the German Lied and adaptation of music to poems in the German lied starting from 14th century to 20th cen tury. A review of problems encountered while combining poem and music ; at the same time looking at some best composers lieders. One can define music as dominative factor in the lied, others can say a good poems Lines, it is debatable.
