Wirkung der ausbildung der deutschen sprache und der methodologie-kenntnisse der lehrerkandidaten in gymnasien

Language is both a communictaion tool and an important actor in trade in today's world.While individuals in a society are communicating by speaking the same language, it is possible to know an other culture, exchange information and trade by means of the language they learned.Today we have to connect to the other nations in our developing and changing world.In other words,we have to know foreign language/ languages to express our ideas, to manage our economic relations, exchange information with other countries in all fields. The age we live now is "information " age. The individuals and the societies do their best to reach the information. The communiaction between different societies is very important in our waning world. Today it is communicated by means of both visual, written press and computers. Today as the result of economic and technological improvements, English has become the " world language " used almost in all the countries. For this reason language teaching has mostly focused on English.This has been an issue overstressed for many years.On the other side, German, which is the offical language of three important countries in Europe; Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and which will provide many opportunities in future if learned, which has a key role to understand Europe at science and art, which is the language of Germany with whom our country has had close relations has recently started to get a great deal of attention in our country and been taught as the second foreign language beside English in Science High Schools and Anatolian High Schools. As the necessity of globalization , to catch up with the times, to keep up with the times, to cummunicate with other countries in economic, cultural, and technologic ways, foreign language must be taught by the teachers who are well educated and satisfying in their field. As a teacher having been working as a German teacher since 2008, I have had the chance to see that knowing the aforesaid facts above, our students generally can't reach the expected success in foreign language.I aimed to study this issue in two pillars.The first pillar of the study is professional knowledge and experience of candidate teachers.In this framework, 61 last year students at Dicle University Education Faculty Foreign Languages Department German Teaching , were applied questionnaire. With the help of this questionnaire it was aimed to get an idea about the professional knowledge of candidate teachers. Second pillar of the study is to find out the motivation and behaviours of students on learning foreign language without examining our National Education Systemin details. In this framework 194 students were applied questionnaire from Rekabet Kurumu Cumhuriyet Fen Lisesi and Vali Aydın Arslan Fen Lisesi where the most successful students of our city study after a central selection exam. Microsoft Office Excell 2010 was used for the questionnaire and IBM SPSS Statistics 64 bit Version.22.0.0.0 was used for the analysis..
