The last generation in Germany is the God and religion perception of Alevis

The last generation of Alevis in Berlin, the area of the study, was addressed both within the cemetery in Berlin and in the city's actual relations. In this approach, which needs to be observed, immigration, which started in the 1960s, is aimed at understanding the intergenerational differences among the Alevis. Religion, beliefs and socio-cultural structure of the Alevis have changed depending on the modernization style of Republican Turkey. These changes, especially with the migration of Anatolian villagers to the modern cities, have been increasing. Modern cities, the relationship between the individual and the society has been re-smoothed, the city of life with the influence of industrialists, has revealed the type of modern man as a new type of people. The Alevis who migrated from villages to the cities encountered not only the political practices of the modern Republican Turkey; but also the fact that traditional values had quickly disappeared in urban life. After 1950s, internal migration from villages to cities accelerated and brought unexpected economic, political and cultural problems together. Suddenly living in the cultural and economic life in Europe has caused the Alevi to move away from the natural environment, that is to say, away from the Anatolian originality. It is at the extreme end of last generation Alevism youths with European experience that the modern central authority formed by the Republic affects the Alevites' influence on their beliefs and cultures, as well as the dimension of the changes in culture and faith that migrate from villages to cities. This extreme situation is beyond the positive or negative, meaning the perception of Alevism in the last generation Alevism youth. The sense of God and religion in the everyday life of the last generation of Alevis young people in Europe has also been addressed in this respect.
