A biographical study about Turkish authors and poets in Germany

After the the second world war Germany was targeted the country's restructuring but German economy had a shortage of labor. In 1961 Germany and Turkey signed a labour recruitment agreement . At first they were guest workers but then the Turkish workers settled permanently in Germany. Their population gradually increases and they active in all areas of life in Germany. Among them there are also Turkish writers and poets. By this work Turkish writers and poets living in Germany have been introduced. At the beginning of this work, the term of migration, emigration to Germany from Turkey, immigrant literature, integration, assimilation is discussed as facts. Most important part of our work consist of biographies, bibliographies and literature life of authors and poets.
