Contribution of Turkish origined women to labourmarket in Germany: Bremen State sample

The aim of this study is to present the immigration period started with working but then continued with citizenship and the contribution of Turkish Women of this period as in wifes or workers position and also to present the Turkish women` situations in labourmarket as the ones who had an immigration history and who have different profiles in Germany related to the fact of immigration within a 50 yeared period after the agreement of Labour between Federal Germany and Republic of Turkey signed by the governmental authorities in 1961, Oct 30th.The research was done in the state of Bremen which has a percentage %5.5 with 36.513 Turkish origined people in total population which is 661.866 and the sample was formed with 64 Turkish origined women who live and work in the state. As the data collecting method the half formed interview method is preferred among qualitative research methods in order to get the women?s experiences with their knowledge and ideas concerning labour life.In the research it is suggested that the Turkish origined women prefer Germany as living place; the second generation of the women are educated at least high school level and work in relative high career jobs, the women who immigrate from Turkey with the marriage reason experience the language and diploma accrediation problem so that they are accepted as unqualified and have to work in low career jobs, and the women prefer working as a need for both economic reasons and also for a life style compared with education, they are also willing to work independet from education; they also have difficulties being discriminated for their origins and sex as well as the conventional women responsibilities in labour life, they don?t see the labour life as provisional cause of having rights of retirement and they believe in that it is a purposive policy to present the image of Turkish ladies in Germany negatively by emphasis to problems of a relative small group.
