Abstract (EN)

In this study, an overview of the fauna of Kazakhstan and the fauna of mite are presented by reviewing previous scientific researches on this subject. In addition, the geographical characteristics of the country, natural protected areas and national parks have been researched and listed. Although the majority of Kazakhstan's national parks have been studied in terms of flora, investigations in terms of fauna are inadequate. A small number of mammals and reptiles have been studied, but studies on invertebrates, especially mites are inadequate. In this study, a total of 10 samples were taken from Almaty region between June and October and the mites found were studied faunistically. A total of 39 species one species belonging to Astigmata group, 17 species belonging to Prostigmata group, 1 species belonging to Metastigmata group, 9 species belonging to mesostigmata and 11 species belonging to Oribatides have been identified. Expect for these (Acarus siro, Acrotritia ardua ardua and Ixodes sp). Others are new records for Kazakhstan.
