Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to determine the effects of two commercial fish feeds for rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss W., 1972) on the growth performance, feed consumption and fatty acid profiles of fish reared in net cages in Almus Dam lake. Fish which were initial average weight 180,072±0,178 g were used for feeding trials during the 60 days. a total of 472 fish were used in the experiment. The growth parameters of the fish were measured at the end of the experiment; live weight gain, specific growth rate, feed efficiency ratio (FCR), feed consumption, protein evaluation efficiency (PER) and total energy consumption were significant among the experimental groups (P <0.05). At the end of the experiment, the highest weight increase in fish was found in group A with 340,320 ± 1,480 (P <0.05). Fatty acid composition of the feed and fish samples were determined in experiment. ın the experimental groups, the maximal existed fatty acids were oleic acid (C: 181n9), linoleic acid (C18: 2n6), palmitic acid (C16: 0) and stearic acid (C18: 0) respectively. sfa, n-6, n-3, PUFA and n-3 / n-6 ratios were significantly different between the groups at the end of the experiment (P <0.05). fish sample fatty acid compositions were mirrored fatty acid compositions determined in the experimental diets.
