Abstract (EN)

The tendency of people since they were born is to consume everything in their environment. To spend articles, services, emotion and thoughts is an uncontrolled activity for people. Consumption is a multidimensional notion that is available in all aspects of life. Consumption that has not a few dimension political, economic, social and psychological is an indispensable part of our lives. Product range, mass communication, change for the better financial possibility, and changes in the human psychology convert every moment of the life to consumption. Especially the instant developments in the technology are also an effect to become consumption a life style.The study ? Daily Life and Consumption Culture At Shopping Malls? discusses the theoretical aspect of consumption, principally. After several explanations for consumption, the implementation part of the study has been referred. 300 customers in Elazığ-Akgün shopping mall have been asked the questionnaire. During the study, the questions about shopping and consuming have been directed to consumers. As a result of literature review and the study it has been inferred that the consumption with all aspects is very important for human lives. Human beings take consumption as a goal instead of using it as a tool. Consumption is a social activity and it appears as a new manner for social relationships.
